The quarterfinals of the Fort Kearny Conference girls basketball tournament were played Monday night. SEM advances to the semifinals. SEM edged Ansley/Litchfield in the quarterfinals 47-42. SEM will face Pleasanton in the semifinals. Pleasanton defeated Loomis 63-48. Also advancing to the semifinals were top seed Amherst and #4 seed Overton. Amherst held off Axtell 53-45 and Overton won over Wilcox-Hildreth 60-38. The FKC girls semifinals will take place Thursday in Minden.
