Post 126 Seniors go 0-2 on Saturday

The Broken Bow Seniors played the Bennington Post 266 Juniors first on Saturday, falling 3-9. Broken Bow led by a run 3-2 at the end of the first inning, but Bennington went on to score 7 unanswered runs to take the win.

The great start in the first inning was powered by a Drew Ellis single that brought in a run as well as a double from Xack Lowry that brought in two more. Those two RBI’s led the Broken Bow offense in the box score at the end of the game. Jackson Hall, Colton Uhlig, Xack Lowry, Kayden Record, and Drew Ellis all had a hit for the seniors.

Broken Bow played the Post 56 Seniors of Plattsmouth next on Saturday, falling 0-10 in the game. The Plattsmouth team scored a run in the first inning, three in the second inning, and six in the fourth inning of a game that only went 4 1/2 innings.

With the losses, Broken Bow fell below .500 to a 2-3 record that they will look to pull back to .500 in a game against the Syracuse Post 100 Seniors on Sunday to round out the tournament.
