D-1 District Wrestling Results – Ansley Litchfield Qualifies 3, Sandhills Valley Qualifies 1, South Loup Qualifies 1 for State Tournament

Ansley/Litchfield, Sandhills Valley, and South Loup were among the teams that competed at the D-1 district wrestling tournament in Maxwell.  Ansley/Litchfield qualified three individuals for the state tournament in Omaha.  Chase Racicky place third at 132 lbs.  Cooper Slingsby was third at 182 lbs. and Andy Cash qualified by placing 4th at 285 lbs.

Dayton Gipe of Sandhills Valley (Stapleton/McPherson County) qualified for state by finishing third at 120 lbs. and Rio Remund will represent South Loup (Callaway/Arnold) at the state tournament as he finished 3rd at 195 lbs.
