Broken Bow Wins Home Wrestling Invite

Broken Bow hosted its annual wrestling invitational on Saturday.  Broken Bow ran away with the team title winning the meet with 245.5 points.  Gordon Rushville was runner-up with 126 points.  Broken Bow had seven individual champions on the day.  Chauncey Watson was champion at 106 lbs.  William Moninger was champion at 120 lbs.  Braylan Rynearson won the title at 126 lbs.  Cyrus Wells was champion at 132 lbs.  Connor Wells took first at 145 lbs.  Ashton Schweitzer took the title at 152 lbs.  and Max Denson was champion at 182 lbs.  Four Broken Bow wrestlers were runner-up in their weight class.  They included Jack Myers at 152, Zac Gaffney at 160, Zander Schweitzer at 170, and Keifer Anderson at 220.

South Loup (Callaway/Arnold) were among the teams that competed at the Bow Invite.  The Bobcats had two medal winners on the day.  Ethan Furne was runner up at 113 lbs. and Rio Remund was fourth at 195 lbs
