Dylan Reynolds to be Inducted Into the Broken Bow Athletic Hall of Fame

The Broken Bow athletic hall of fame is about to have a new member. The Broken Bow athletic booster club has announced that Dylan Reynolds will be the hall of fame’s newest addition. Reynolds is the son of Todd and Lori Reynolds and graduated from Broken Bow high school in 2017. Dylan currently resides in the state of Arkansas where he works as an ICU nurse. Reynolds was a standout three sports athlete for the Indians earning ten combined letters in the sports of football, basketball, and track. Dylan took time to visit with KCNI/KBBN sports about receiving this special honor and shared his first reaction to the news of his hall of fame induction.

 

Some of Reynolds greatest achievements during his high school sports career came in the sport of track and field.  Reynolds was a four year state qualifier in track and excelled in the long jump where he set the school record with a leap of 23′ 8.5″, a jump that would have been a state record had it not been declared wind aided.  Reynolds talked about winning the Class B state long jump gold medal his senior with a mark of 22′ 7.5″

 

Following high school graduation, Reynolds was given the opportunity to walk on for the University of Nebraska football program.  During his time in the program, Reynolds was honored with being a member of the Brook Berringer and Tom Osborne Citizenship teams.

 

Reynolds will officially be inducted into the Broken Bow athletic hall of fame on February 4th at the Broken Bow high school gym in between the Broken Bow / Ogallala girls and boys varsity games at approximately 4:30 pm.  The Broken Bow athletic booster club encourages the public to come celebrate Dylan’s athletic achievements and hall of fame induction.
