Broken Bow City Council Accepts Resignation From City Administrator Brent Clark

BROKEN BOW— The final day for City Administrator Brent Clark has been finalized as Clark’s resignation letter was accepted by the Broken Bow City Council. On Tuesday, November 27, the Broken Bow City Council accepted the resignation letter of Brent Clark and also had numerous comments praising the work that Clark had put in to the city in his past four years as Broken Bow City Administrator.

Clark also thanked Mayor Cecil Burt and the rest of the council for their years of support and he also thanked the public for their tireless work on improving Broken Bow. Clark’s final day as City Administrator will be December 7. Brent Clark is currently the lone finalist for the City Administrator position in Grand Island.

The City Council also approved Ordinance 1191 in regards to ATV/UTV use throughout the city. This ordinance allows the use of ATV/UTV in the city as long as the vehicle follows all of the regulations that are laid out in the ordinance. Other approvals include approving the employee appreciation banquet as well as approving an authorized official who can place or remove items for the City Council Agenda.

The next Broken Bow City Council Meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 11 at 12 P.M.
