GRAND ISLAND - A man has been caught by police after escaping from custody in York.
This afternoon, a suspect was captured shortly after allegedly fleeing from police custody in York County and driving to Grand Island.
The suspect parked a car at Central Community College shortly after 4 p.m. He then ran to an apartment complex and was captured by police.
Police say the man was aided by a second person a separate vehicle.
The investigation is still on-going, we will update when more details become available.
