A milling and asphalt overlay project will begin on Highway 183 near Sargent tomorrow, weather permitting. The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) first announced the project last week.
The project will stretch from near mile marker 115 south of Sargent to near marker 122 north of town. Paulsen Inc. is the contractor for the project.
A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect during the project, which is expected to take less than a month to complete.
NDOT is reminding motorists to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
