“100 Things To Do in the Nebraska Sandhills Before You Die” book signing Oct 28 at Prairie Grounds Cafe and Gifts

On Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Prairie Grounds Café & Gifts, Alan J. Bartels will be hosting a book signing of his newest published book,  “100 Things To Do in the Nebraska Sandhill’s Before You Die”

Alan Bartels, author of “100 Things To Do in the Nebraska Sandhill’s Before You Die” told KCNI/KBBN how he came up with the idea to write this book.

“I was a brewery, a favorite brewery of mine in Nebraska actually. Kinkaider Brewing in Broken Bow, and I noticed they had a Nebraska travel book on the counter, so I asked if I could look at it. I started flipping through the book and it was an okay book, but the Nebraska Sandhill’s covers about a quarter of the state of Nebraska, and I was disappointed that at least a quarter of that book was not about the Sandhill’s. So I found a publisher that does travel books and put together a pitch on why the Nebraska Sandhill’s deserves its own book, and they agreed.”

You are invited to come on out to Prairie Grounds Café and Gifts this Saturday, October 28 from 9-11 a.m. to meet Alan Bartels and learn more about “100 Things To Do in the Nebraska Sandhill’s Before You  Die”.
