The Custer County Foundation is celebrating 35 years of giving back to the community with a special event tonight in downtown Broken Bow.
The Foundation’s 35th Anniversary Celebration will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Broken Bow square.
The evening will include activities for the whole family, including bounce houses, Tropical Sno treats, piggy bank decorating and a timeline walk highlighting the Foundation’s history.
There will also be giveaways and a free meal available during the celebration and those attending will have an opportunity to register for donations that will be given to Foundation funds.
The Custer County Foundation was established with a mission of helping strengthen communities throughout Custer County. Over its 35 years, the Foundation has distributed more than $4 million back into the community through local grants, student scholarships and support for community programs.
The Foundation serves communities throughout Custer County and relies on donors to help build resources that can be used to support local needs and opportunities.
