SEM and Ansley/Litchfield were among the teams that competed at the Fort Kearny Conference track championships.
Top six finishes for SEM included:
Taryn Arbuthnot champion in the girls 200, runner up in the 100, 3rd in girls high jump, and 5th in long jump. Kyler Jones was 4th in the girls shot put.
Top six finishes for Ansley/Litchfield included:
Kaycee Nelson 3rd in girls 400. Garittee Smith 4th in girls pole vault. Caydence Feldman 4th in girls 3200. Karson Moore 5th in boys shot put. Kolten Clay 6th in boys 3200. Ava Paitz 5th in the girls 300 meter hurdles and 6th in the 100 meter hurdles. Kiera Bailey 6th in the girls 300 meter hurdles.

Burwell was among the teams that competed at the Goldenrod conference track meet on Friday. Burwell’s Mieke van der Walt swept the girls hurdles taking gold in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 15.34 seconds and winning the 300 meter hurdles in a time of 47.27. Other highlights for the Longhorns included Katelynn Simon winning the girls pole vault and Addie Critel won the girls 1600 in a time of 5:27.63. Burwell won the girls 4×400 meter relay. The team of Addie Critel, Regan Smith, Jalise Busch, and Mieke van der Walt posted a winning time of 4:23.1.
