Broken Bow Track Competes at Aurora Track Invite

The Broken Bow girls and boys track teams began their seasons at the Aurora track and field invite on Friday. Northwest won both the girls and boys team titles. Broken Bow finished with 42 points in the boys standings and finished with 48 points in the girls standings.

Among the Broken Bow highlights, Halle Quinn was the champion of the girls 800 meters with a winning time of 2:29.78. Charlee Myers was runner up in the girls pole vault clearing 9 feet even. Drew Ellis was runner up in the boys shot put with a top effort of 49’11” and was also the runner up in the boys discus with an effort of 154’6″. Kale Kulhanek was runner up in the boys 400 in a time of 53.25.
