Sandhills/Thedford will host Broken Bow for a girls and boys area basketball doubleheader tonight in Dunning at Sandhills High School. The Broken Bow girls enter at 8-5 overall and have won seven of their last nine. The Lady Indians will be looking to bounce back after falling to Fort Calhoun last Saturday at the Nebraska Girls Basketball Showcase. The Sandhills/Thedford girls are now 7-4 this season following back to back wins over South Loup and Sutherland. On the boys side, Broken Bow is 4-7 and will be looking to stop a five game losing skid. Sandhills/Thedford is 5-4. The Knights have won three in a row and four of their last five. Tonight’s games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
