Ansley/Litchfield and SEM were among the teams that competed at the Fort Kearny Conference Cross Country Championships last Friday. Axtell won the boys team title and Elm Creek won the girls team championship. The girls individual champion was Broxlynn Fast of Amherst in a winning time of 22:15.48. Ansley/Litchfield placed two runners in the top 20. Bayler Clay of Ansley/Litchfield placed 11th in a time of 25:03.41 and Addie Rohde was 17th in a time of 27:27.15.
The boys individual champion was Micah Houchin of Axtell in a winning time of 19:10.12. Kolten Clay of Ansley/Litchfield placed tenth at the conference meet with a time of 20:02.22. SEM was led by Samuel Venegas-Villezcas who placed 29th (23:32.26.).
