Burwell and Arcadia/Loup City were among the teams that competed at the Palmer Track Invite on Friday. Burwell won the girls 4×800 meter relay in a time of 10:46.94 was runner up in the girls 4×400. Katelynn Simon of Burwell won the girls pole vault clearing 8′. Wyatt Stieb of ALC won the boys shot put with a winning effort of 49′ 5.5″. Tayler Obermiller of ALC won the girls 800 in a time of 2:26.4 and was runner up in the girls 400. Avery Mann of Burwell was runner up in the girls shot put and Cy Feeken of Burwell was runner up in the boys discus. Mieke Van der walt of Burwell was runner up in both the girls 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Laurel Mann of Burwell was runner up in the girls 200. Lena Spencer of Burwell was runner up in the girls 3200. Tyce Calleroz of ALC was runner up in both the boys 100 and 200.

SEM was among the teams that competed at the Don Bader Track Invite hosted by Lexington on Friday. Cohen Rohde of SEM won the boys discus with a winning effort of 160′ 4″.
