Broken Bow was among the teams that competed at the Lexington boys golf invitational on Tuesday. Broken Bow finished fifth in the team standings with a 329 team score just one shot behind Kearney for fourth and five shots behind North Platte for third. McCook was the team champion in the 13 team field with a low team score of 309 followed by Holdrege in second with a 312 team score.
Landon Kmoch of McCook claimed the individual championship with a low round of 71. Broken Bow placed two golfers in the top 15 led by Austin Fox who was ninth with a round of 79 and Zach Jackson placed 11th with a round of 80. Other scores for the Bow varsity included Bowen Ridder an 84, Jack White an 86, and Adrian Gibbons an 87.
Other area notes, Cozad finished with a 341 team score and was led by Ethan Atchison who placed in the top 10 with a round of 77. Gothenburg finished with a 364 team score and was led by Jaxon Earll with a round of 87.
