It was a great day for the Broken Bow boys golf team on Tuesday as they claimed the team championship at the Ord Invitational. Broken Bow won the event with a team score of 304 for the 18 hole tournament. Austin Fox led the way for Broken Bow with a round of 69 to finish runner up just two shots behind Jack Alberts of GICC who was the individual champion with a round of 67. Broken Bow placed four golfers in the top 15. Adrian Gibbons was fifth (76), Jack White was 11th (78), and Bowen Ridder was 14th (81). Zach Jackson finished with a round of 84 for the Indians. Among the other area teams who competed were Arcadia/Loup City and Burwell. The Rebels were led by Gunnar Ducker and Nick Jepsen who each finished with a round of 99 and Burwell was led by Kason Larson who finished in the top 15 with a round of 81.
Broken Bow will play at Lakeside Country Club at Johnson Lake next Tuesday (4/15)
