Area Wrestlers Compete at Ainsworth Girls Invitational

Broken Bow, SEM, and Anselmo-Merna were among those that competed at the Ainsworth girls wrestling invitational on Friday.  The team champion was Gordon Rushville with 74 points just a half point ahead of West Holt who was runner up.  Broken Bow finished 5th in the team standings.

Among the area highlights, Dacie Henderson of Broken Bow was runner up at 105 lbs.  Zoe Jones of Broken Bow was champion at 115 lbs.  Chayse Kaelin of Broken Bow was third at 120.  Alexis Pflaster of Broken Bow was runner up at 140 lbs.  At 155 lbs. Ellie Scoville of SEM was the champion and Keelyn Shea of Broken Bow was runner up.  At 170 lbs. Stayci Medina Lopez of Broken Bow was runner up and Sofia McDonald of SEM was third.  Broken Bow’s Ida Bumgarner was champion at 235 lbs.
