Girls Wrestling – Broken Bow Finishes Runner up at Valentine / ALC and S/T Compete at EPPJ Tournament

Broken Bow finished as the team runner up at the Valentine girls wrestling invitational on Friday with 94.5 points behind team champion Chadron who won the tournament with 130 points.  Zoe Jones led the way for the Lady Indians by winning the 115 lb. individual championship.  Broken Bow had four runner up finishes including Chayse Kaelin at 120 lbs., Alexis Pflaster at 140 lbs., Stayci Medina Lopez at 170 lbs., and Ida Bumgarner at 235.  Ellie Scoville of SEM finished 4th at 155 lbs.

Arcadia/Loup City and Sandhills/Thedford competed at the EPPJ girls tournament on Friday.  Rylee Kursave of ALC was the champion at 170 lbs. and Shelby Schukei of Sandhills/Thedford finished 4th at 145 lbs.
