Area Teams Compete at Axtell Wrestling Invitational

Axtell hosted its annual wrestling invitational on Tuesday. Milford was the team champion with 230 points followed by the Kearney Gold JV’s with 205.5 points. Gothenburg finished 4th in the team standings and Ansley/Litchfield was 8th in the 15 team field. Ansley/Litchfield’s Andy Cash was runner up at 285 lbs. Gothenburg had nine wrestlers medal in the top four of their weight class including three runner up finishes. Lucas Therrien at 120 lbs., Zander Hruza at 190, and Maxwell Wyatt at 215 lbs.
