Twin Loup hosted Ansley/Litchfield and Anselmo-Merna for a volleyball triangular in Sargent on Thursday. Ansley/Litchfield went 2-0 to improve to 6-2 on the season. A/L defeated Twin Loup in the opening match 25-13, 25-15 and then held off Anselmo-Merna in match #2 25-16, 25-20. In the final match, Anselmo-Merna got by Twin Loup in three sets. Twin Loup won the first set 25-18 but AM came back to win set two 25-13 and won the third 25-11.
Broken Bow improved to 3-0 with a thrilling 3-2 win over Gothenburg on Thursday. Scores went 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11 in favor of Broken Bow. Addison Ellis led the Lady Indians in kills with 23 and Klarissa Dowdy added 11 kills. Maren Chapin had 37 assists.
