MNAC vs MAC All Star Basketball Games Saturday in Mullen

The MNAC / MAC all star girls and boys basketball games will take place Saturday in Mullen.  The event began in 2022 and features recent graduates of teams and schools that make up each conference.  This year’s game is sponsored by Great Plains Health and Kwik Stop.  MVP awards for the game are sponsored by Dairy Queen in Broken Bow.

The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference includes South Loup, Anselmo-Merna, Twin Loup, Brady, Sandhills/Thedford, Mullen, Arthur County, and Sandhills Valley.  The Minuteman Activities Conference includes teams such as Garden County, South Platte, Leyton, Minatare, Potter-Dix, Banner County, Creek Valley, and Bayard.

The MNAC girls team will be coached by Kale Anderson of Sandhills/Thedford and Trenton Kirchman of Anselmo-Merna. The MNAC boys team will be coached by Andrew Christen of Sandhills/Thedford and Darrick Hanks of Mullen.

The games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream of the games, accompanied by the radio call, will be available through the Sandhills Express Facebook page and You Tube channel. The girls game is scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m. central time followed by the boys game at 7 p.m.
