The Nebraska School Activities Association has released the pairings for girls sub district basketball tournaments which begin next week.
Broken Bow is the #2 seed at the C1-10 sub district. Minden is the top seed and will host the tournament. Broken Bow will face Holdrege on Tuesday (2/13) with the winner advancing to play the winner of Minden vs Kearney Catholic on Thursday (2/15) in the sub district final.
Sandhills/Thedford is the top seed at the D2-8 sub district and will host the Tuesday and Thursday tournament games at Sandhills High School in Dunning. The opening game of the sub will feature Ansley/Litchfield vs. Elba on Monday (2/12) and will be played at Ansley high school with the winner advancing out to play Sandhills/Thedford on Tuesday (2/13). Anselmo-Merna is the #3 seed in the sub tournament and will face Central Valley on Tuesday. Tuesday’s winners will meet on Thursday (2/15) for the sub district championship.
Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will provide live coverage of all Broken Bow games from the C1-10 sub district tournament and will provide coverage of the D2-8 sub district at Sandhills High School in Dunning. More details to be released soon.
Arcadia/Loup City and South Loup are among the teams at the C2-10 sub district in Ord. ALC will face Gibbon on Monday (2/12) with the winner advancing to play the top seed Ord on Tuesday (2/13) followed by South Loup vs. Ravenna.
Twin Loup and Burwell will be at the D1-8 sub at St. Mary’s High School in O’Neill. Twin Loup will play Boyd County on Monday (2/12) with the winner advancing to play top seed St. Mary’s the following night followed by Burwell vs. North Central.
SEM is the top seed and host of the D1-10 sub district tournament. The Lady Mustangs will face Pleasanton on Tuesday (2/13) with the winner advancing to the sub district final on Thursday (2/15) to face the winner of Elm Creek vs Amherst.
Mullen is the #3 seed at the D2-12 sub district. Mullen will face Crawford on Tuesday (2/13). Cody Kilgore will face Hyannis on Monday (2/12) with the winner advancing to play the top seed Hay Springs the next night.
Sandhills Valley will play in the D1-11 sub at Maywood High School. The Lady Mavericks will face Hi-Line on Monday (2/12) with the winner advancing to play the top seed Maywood Hayes Center.
