Ravenna hosted its annual cross country invitational Thursday.
Kearney Catholic won the girls team title. The top area finisher was South Loup who finished 4th in the girls team standings. The girls individual champion was Anna Fitzgerald of Doniphan-Trumbull in a winning time of 21:31.4. South Loup placed two runners in the top 15 led by Ella Cool who placed 4th (22:55.8) and Ivy Tullis was 14th (25:23.4). Other area highlights included Addie Rohde of Ansley/Litchfield finishing in the top 30 placing 23rd overall (26:32.9) and Crystal Hernandez of Cozad was 24th (26:34.0).
North Platte St. Pat’s won the boys team title. Cozad was 4th in the boys team standings and South Loup came in 6th. The boys individual champion was Jarrett Miles of North Platte St. Pat’s in a winning time of 17:23.4. Logan Recoy of South Loup finished in the top ten placing 7th in a time of 18:58.2 and Josiah Coleman of South Loup finished in the top 20 placing 17th (20:04.8). In other area highlights, Cozad placed two runners in the top 12 led by Shank Sall who finished 8th (19:07.7) and Lorenzo Levario was 11th (19:21.6). Connor Sutton of Sandhills/Thedford finished in the top 25 placing 21st (20:20.5)
