Broken Bow Competes at Track and Field Meet in Gothenburg

Broken Bow was among the teams that competed at the Dutch Zorn track and field invitational hosted by Gothenburg on Thursday.  Some of the Broken Bow highlights included Noah Osmond winning the boys 3200 meter run in a winning time of 10:20.92.  Osmond would finish as the runner up in the boys mile in a time of 4:48.10.  Zane Eggleston was champion in the boys 300 meter hurdles in a winning time of 42.06 seconds.  In the field events, Max Denson won the boys discus with an effort of 149′ 10″.

On the girls side, top three finishes for Broken Bow included Halle Quinn placing third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:32.14.  Taylor Schaaf placed third in the discus with an effort of 112′ 10″.  In the relays, Broken Bow was runner up in the girls 4×800 meter relay.  The team of Halle Quinn, Maren Chapin, Addison Ellis, and MaKinley Tobey posted a time of 10:43.93.
