GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — An investigation is underway and a Grand Island man is in the hospital with burns after an overnight house fire.
Fire officials say crews were called to a home on West 17th Street just after midnight. When they arrived, they found a man lying in the front yard with several burn injuries.
The victim has since been transferred to a Lincoln hospital for treatment.
The victim’s name has not yet been identified.
