SIDNEY – Jeff Phelps, Owner and Operator of High Point Aerial Images, captured photos from high above the 2021 Sidney Cruisin’ Night, presented by 987 The Big Boy and Cheyenne County Country.

The 21st annual event on Friday featured vehicles driving up-and-down Illinois St. for three hours, two car shows and 50’s and 60’s hit songs on the radio. Several businesses and organizations offered specials and served food along the route.

The Flooring Garage gave 10% of their proceeds made Friday night to the Sidney Park Project. The Fox Theatre served curbside popcorn and the Sidney Elk’s Club cooked hamburgers and hotdogs. Sidney Floral & Gift Shop gave away a box full of prizes to cruisers, while Panhandle Auto Group made four attendees winners of a free oil change.

Hunter Arterburn and Kegan Carwin announced details on the radio station’s summer giveaway plans, which includes giving away a 42″-inch riding lawn mower from 21st Century Equipment. Listeners will register to win the mower all summer by guessing how far the mower will go before it runs out of gas on Highway 385 on Sept. 1. More details will be posted at newschannelnebraska.com in the coming days.
