Norfolk man holds up traffic, runs from police

NORFOLK, Neb. — A northeast Nebraska man is facing charges after reportedly holding up traffic and running from officers.

Norfolk police say they got complaints of a man holding up traffic on Norfolk Avenue Monday afternoon.

Police say officers stopped the man to talk about sidewalk safety when he began swearing and walking off.

The man, identified as 36-year-old Todd Bierman, then reportedly hit the officer’s car.
