Nebraska, Iowa governors order flags lowered to half-staff in honor of Barbara Bush

The governors of Nebraska and Iowa have ordered their state flags be flown at half-staff in honor of former first lady Barbara Bush, who died Tuesday. Govs. Pete Ricketts of Nebraska and Kim Reynolds of Iowa ordered the state flags to be lowered until sunset Saturday, when Bush will be buried. The governors' orders were issued in conjunction with President Donald Trump’s proclamation on lowering all U.S. flags to half-staff for the same length of time.
