Toby B. Preston age 69 of Arnold died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Arnold with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Arnold Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home with family greeting friends 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Toby Bunk Preston was born on September 13, 1949, at Arnold, NE to Leon and Betty (Nansel) DeLosh. She attended grade school at Mackley Country School and later graduated from Arnold HS. She later attended Beauty School in North Platte. She was married to Jerry Preston on July 6, 1968. They lived in Denver and later Aurora Colorado for 17 years. Toby and Jerry later moved to Partial Colorado where they ran a bar and restaurant for 21 years. In 2006 they moved back to Arnold.
Toby enjoyed playing horseshoes, going to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, water skiing, playing cards, and video poker.
Toby is survived by her husband Jerry Preston of Arnold, NE and her brother Kent (Sue) DeLosh of Arnold, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Dan DeLosh.
