Karen Sue Derr, 61, of Geneva, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, after a long fought illness.
Born November 14, 1956, in North Platte, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Elver Anderson and Eula Faye Anderson of Broken Bow, NE.
Karen enjoyed crocheting, cats, and dogs. She loved having large gardens and several flower beds. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Sedersten, and husband, Gabe of Sutton, NE, and her son Andrew Derr and his wife, Kim of Friend, NE; six grandchildren, Riley, Kaylee, Elizabeth, Sophia, Nathaniel, and Breauna; and her sister Connie White.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elver and Eula Faye Anderson; brother in law Dennis White; and niece Kristi White.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Broken Bow Township Cemetery in Broken Bow, NE with Pastor Michelle Kanzaki officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family at 297 378th Road, Friend, NE 68359.
