Funeral Services for Eileen Morgan, age 70
October 16, 1947 - July 30, 2018

Eileen Morgan, 70, of Kearney passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018, at her home.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at United Church of Sumner-East Campus with Pastor Ken Hutson, officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at United Church of Sumner-East Campus. Burial will be in the Sumner Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to United Church of Sumner or Homeward Trail and Bible Camp.  Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.  Please share online condolences with the family by visiting: reynoldslovefuneralhome.com

She was born October 16, 1947, in Gothenburg, NE to Lenno and Minnie May (Harvey) Wolf.   Eileen attended high school in Sumner and graduated with the class of 1966.

On December 14, 1968, she married Larry Morgan in Sumner, NE.  They would make their home in Kearney, Nebraska in 1969.  Three sons were blessed to this union: Roger, Jeff & Dana.  

Eileen worked various jobs throughout the years baking cakes for weddings and birthdays.  She also enjoyed babysitting for many years. 

Volunteering was very important to Eileen.  She was a longtime member of Kearney Christian Women’s Connections group.  She also helped with Operation Christmas Child, Bible School at United Church of Sumner and F.C.A.

Eileen enjoyed restoring old furniture, sewing, crafts, gardening her plants and flowers, and going to garage sales buying knick-knacks for her family and friends.  Attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities was something she loved, family meant everything to Eileen.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Morgan of Kearney, Nebraska; sons, Roger and Keri Morgan of Kearney, Nebraska, Jeff and Rachel Morgan of Blair, Nebraska and Dana and Teresa Morgan of Kearney, Nebraska; grandchildren, Tanner Morgan of Kearney and Eli, Avalon and Rowan Morgan of Blair. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
