David Lister age 82 of Dunning, NE passed away June 4, 2022, at Kearney Regional in Kearney, NE.
A graveside service will be Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Brewster Cemetery near Brewster, NE. with Vickie Webb officiating and military honors. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. An online guest book may be signed at govierbrothers.com.
David H Lister was born June 28, 1939, to Leona Lister. David grew up and attended school in Brewster. David joined the Air Force August 2, 1957, serving for a time in France, and was honorably discharged August 1, 1963. David worked for several years for McMullen Propane in Dunning. David also served as the Mayor of Dunning for several years. David enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Davis is survived by daughters Patricia Lister of Buckeye, AZ and Rita Homer of Dunning, grandsons Brandon Homer of Dunning, and Dylan Lister of Kearney.
David was preceded in death by his wife, mother, and a daughter Linda.
