Marion Brown, age 90, wife, and mother, passed away August 13, 2018. Marion was known as a kind loving woman devoted to her family. Born in Grand Island, Nebraska on December 20, 1927. She grew up on a farm in Sargent, Nebraska. A 9-year-old boy teased her every Saturday night that would take her hair ribbons when everyone came to town to deliver the products of their labor from the week prior. Little did they know they would be married for 71 years? Marion was able to be a stay at home mother for her three children.
Her husband, Bert; her children, Susan wife of Richard Kuhn, Bert Brown II husband of Elizabeth and Brian Brown, survived Marion. She was also survived by her younger sister Betty O’Neill. Marion was very proud of her four grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, August 21st 10:15 am followed by a Mass at 11:00 am at St. John XXIII Catholic Community Church. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to Roadrunner Food Bank in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
