Bob was born November 5, 1923, on the family farm west of Callaway to Troy and Ruth (Maze) Myers. He grew up in Callaway and attended Upper Lodi School and Callaway Public School graduating with the class of 1941.

He married the love of his life, Bonnie Marshall on August 7, 1949, in Eddyville, NE. They began their life farming in the Callaway area. Four children were blessed to the marriage: Mike, Pat, Rob, and Connie. Bob filled many roles in his lifetime, he farmed, made many projects out of wood along with working alongside Bernard Kolbo in Carpentry. He also drove a school bus and worked for the COOP elevator for several years driving a truck until he was 85 years old.

Bob was known for his happy, positive, patient and loving nature and of course, his ability to grow a productive and beautiful vegetable and flower garden. You often saw him as a pitcher playing ball in the park across the street from their house with all the grandkids.

He was a member of The original Evangelical United Brethren Church. Bob especially loved being a part of the church and the Callaway community. His joy in life was his love of God, his precious Bonnie and his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. He was so loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
