Southwest Conference Cross Country Moved to Wednesday Due to Forecasted Weather

The 2019 Southwest Conference Cross Country championships have been moved up a day because of impending weather conditions forecasted for Thursday. The meet was originally scheduled for Thursday but has been moved up to Wednesday at 1pm and will take place at the Cozad Country Club. The Southwest Conference consists of teams from Broken Bow, Ainsworth, Ogallala, McCook, Valentine, Gothenburg, Minden, and Cozad. Broken Bow cross country coach Jason Daffer told KCNI/KBBN Sports that he is excited to see how his team stacks up against the rest of the conference.

Cross Country district meets are scheduled for October 17th and the state meet will take place at the Kearney Country Club on Friday October 25th.
