The South Loup (Arnold/Callaway) boys and girls track teams competed at the Hi-Line Invite at Elwood on Tuesday. South Loup claimed the girls team title with 113 points while the South Loup boys placed third in the team standings. South Loup also won the combined team championship. The South Loup boys were led by Drew Vickers who won the 110 meter high hurdles in a winning time of 16 seconds flat. South Loup also won the boys 4×800 meter relay in a winning time of 9:19. The South Loup girls were led by Landyn Cole as she claimed gold in both the 1600 (6:09.5) and the 3200 (13:12.6). Halie Recoy was the champion in the girls 200 in a winning time of 27.9. South Loup swept the girls relays winning the 4×100 in a time of 54.3, winning the 4×400 in a time of 4:39.9, and winning the 4×800 in a time of 11:46.9.
