South Loup hosted its boys golf invitational Thursday at the Arnold golf course. Medicine Valley was the team champion with a team total 349. Hershey was second with a 370 followed by Anselmo-Merna in third with a 398 and South Loup placed 4th with a 425. Kyler Peck of Sutherland had the low individual round with a 79 for the 18 hole event. Jace Leibhart of Anselmo-Merna placed 5th with an 83. Brett Downing of Sandhills/Thedford was 7th with an 89 and Tayten Eggleston of South Loup was 10th with a 96. Brandon Peters and Max Svoboda of Mullen were among a group tied for 11th with a 97.
