The South Loup Lady Bobcats advanced to the state volleyball district finals this Saturday. South Loup claimed the title at the Class C2-9 sub district in Cozad winning 3-1 over Amhersth. Also advancing to the district finals is Mullen. The Lady Broncos claimed the D2-9 sub district title by defeating Anselmo-Merna 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, and 25-23). AM concludes their season at 18-14. At the C1-10 sub district in Greeley, St. Paul defeated Broken Bow 3-1. St. Paul took the opening set 25-20 but Broken Bow fought back to win the 2nd 25-22. St. Paul regained control in the third winning 25-15 and closed out the match in the 4th 25-12. St. Paul improves to 32-1 on the season and advances to the state district finals. The Lady Indians conclude their season at 23-8.
