Sandhills Valley Wins MNAC Boys Golf Championship – Colbi Smith of South Loup Ties for Low Round and Finishes 2nd

The Arnold golf course was the site of the 2022 Mid Nebraska Activities Conference boys golf championships.  Sandhills Valley was the team champion with a 379.  South Loup was second with a 397 and Anselmo-Merna was third in the team standings with a 399.  Jeht Holthus of Hyannis and Colbi Smith of South Loup tied for the low individual round of the tournament with an 81.  Holthus would win the playoff to finish first and Smith was runner-up.  The rest of the top ten consisted of Cole Kramer of Sandhills Valley in third with an 82, Brady Haake of Sandhills/Thedford was 4th with an 87, and Collin Cooksley of Anselmo-Merna was 5th with an 89.  Ethan Weems of Sandhills Valley was 6th with a 91.  Aaron Bartak of Anselmo-Merna was 7th with a 92.  Kyle Finney of Mullen was 8th with a 96.  Kyle Kramer of Sandhills Valley was 9th with a 99 and Ethan Haney of Hyannis was 10th with a 103.
