Samantha Moore of Mullen was named to the Class D2 state basketball all tournament team. The NSAA girls state basketball championships were held this past week in Lincoln. Moore helped lead Mullen to a third place finish in Class D2 as the Broncos edged Wynot in the 3rd place consolation game 30-28. Moore averaged 17 points per game in the three games Mullen played at the tournament including a team high 28 in the semifinals against eventual champion Humphrey St. Francis. Joining Moore on the Class D2 all tournament team were Allison Weidner, Kaylee Stricklin, and Alissa Kosch of Humphrey St. Francis and Erison Vonderschmidt of Falls City Sacred Heart.
