The NSAA has revealed the sub district and district break down for area fall sports teams this season. In volleyball, the Broken Bow volleyball team will compete in the C1-9 sub district with O’Neill, Ord, Valentine, and Ainsworth. Cozad and Gothenburg will compete in the C1-11 sub district with Hershey and Chase County. Arcadia/Loup City and Burwell will compete in the C2-10 sub district with Centura, Wood River, and Ravenna. South Loup (Arnold/Callaway) will be in the C2-11 sub with Elm Creek, Hi-Line, and Maxwell. Ansley/Litchfield will compete with Amherst, Pleasanton, and Shelton in the D1-8 sub district while Sandhills Valley (Stapleton/McPherson County) will be in the D1-10 sub with North Platte St. Pat’s, Overton, and Maywood Hayes-Center. Anselmo-Merna, SEM, and Twin Loup will be in the D2-7 sub district with Heartland Lutheran and Elba. Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford will compete in the D2-9 sub with Arthur County and Hyannis.
In girls golf, Broken Bow, Arcadia/Loup City, and Cozad will be among those competing at the C-4 district meet which will take place at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island on October 8th. Mullen is listed in the C-5 district to be played at Heritage Hills in McCook and Gothenburg is listed in the B-3 district which will be played in York.
In cross country, Broken Bow, Cozad, and Gothenburg will be among the teams to compete at the C-4 district meet in Ogallala which is scheduled for October 17. District assignments in Class D have not yet been released.
