Nikki Peters of Broken Bow High School signed her letter of intent Friday to play college softball for Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE. Peters said that the Northeast coaching staff has talked to her about playing middle infield (2nd base / shortstop) as well as the possibility of catcher because of Peters versatility. Because Broken Bow does not have a high school softball program, Peters talked about the importance and impact of the Spirit Softball program in helping her get to this point.
Peters also talked about how the connection was made in receiving interest from the Northeast softball program.
