Jace Leibhart of Anselmo-Merna qualified for the Class D NSAA boys golf state championships on Monday. Leibhart played at the D-4 district meet. The top 3 teams and top ten individuals automatically qualified. Leibhart shot a 90 on the day which was good for 4th overall. The low round of the day was an 85 shot by Jackson McKenzie of Alma. Alma and Elm Creek tied for the low team score with a 376 and Bertrand qualified for state finishing third with a 406.
The Class D state meet will be played at Lake Maloney Golf Course in North Platte Tuesday (5/21) and Wednesday (5/22)
