Anselmo-Merna and Ansley/Litchfield advanced at the D1-10 girls sub district tournament played at Merna on Wednesday. Top seeded Anselmo-Merna rolled to a 62-18 win over Sandhills Valley. AM was led by three players in double figures led by Jaide Chandler who had a game high 19. Kaitlyn Jacquot had 12 and Hadlee Safranek finished with 11 to lead the Lady Coyotes. AM will face Ansley/Litchfield for the sub district championship as the Lady Spartans defeated Maxwell 47-28. A/L was led by Kaylee Rohde who finished with 13 points and Carli Bailey also finished in double figures with 12. Anselmo-Merna will play Ansley/Litchfield Thursday night for the D1-10 sub district title.
Top seed South Loup advanced at the C2-11 sub district as the Lady Bobcats defeated Hi-Line 53-36. South Loup will play Perkins County Thursday for the sub district championship. Perkins County knocked off the #2 seed Sutherland 54-39.
