High School Basketball on Central Nebraska’s Sports Source – Ansley/Litchfield vs South Loup on KBBN ; Broken Bow vs Gothenburg on KCNI

Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will present live coverage of high school basketball on both KBBN and KCNI radio tonight. On KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com, it will be an area battle as Ansley/Litchfield hosts South Loup in Ansley for a girls and boys doubleheader. The South Loup girls team improved to 12-1 this season after holding off Arcadia/Loup City on Tuesday night 51-36. The Ansley/Litchfield girls also played Tuesday night falling to undefeated Pleasanton. The Lady Spartans are 3-12 this year with wins over Sandhills/Thedford, Heartland Lutherand, and Amherst. The boys game will feature two teams that have put together strong seasons to this point. South Loup is 9-3 and will try to bounce back after a tough 3 point loss to Arcadia/Loup City on Tuesday. Ansley/Litchfield is 10-4 and are on a 3 game winning streak. The South Loup / Ansley-Litchfield doubleheader will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com beginning with the girls game which is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m.

The Broken Bow girls and boys basketball teams will travel to Gothenburg for a doubleheader tonight. The Broken Bow girls team has won 6 in a row and are now 12-2 this season and ranked #4 by the Omaha World Herald in the latest Class C1 girls rankings. The Gothenburg girls have also been putting together a strong season as they enter tonight’s game at 9-3 with their only losses coming to GICC, Northwest, and McCook. The boys game will feature two teams that have struggled from a win/loss standpoint as Gothenburg enters at 3-10 and Broken Bow will be looking for their first victory of the season. The Broken Bow / Gothenburg doubleheader will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and on kcni1280.com beginning with the girls game which is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m.
