Sub District volleyball begins today across the state. Broken Bow will host the C1-10 sub district as the top seed tonight at the Indian gym. Play begins at 5 pm with Ainsworth against Valentine. The winner will advance to play Broken Bow at 7:30. Today’s other match will feature Ord against O’Neill. The winners will advance to the sub district final on Tuesday. All Broken Bow matches from the sub district tournament will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kbbn.com.
Ansley/Litchfield is the host team and top seed for the D1-10 sub district tournament which will be played at Ansley. Play will open tonight with Ansley/Litchfield facing Sandhills Valley at 5:30 followed by Anselmo-Merna vs Maxwell with the winners facing off for the sub district final on Tuesday. Both matches will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com
Arcadia/Loup City will play at the C2-9 sub district in Fullerton. ALC opens against Ravenna with the winner advancing to play the top seed Fullerton. The other opening round matchup features Burwell against Centura.
South Loup is the top seed at the C2-11 sub district and will host the tournament in Callaway. The Lady Bobcats will face Sutherland in the opening round with the winner advancing out to play the winner of Hi-Line vs Perkins County for the sub district final on Tuesday.
Twin Loup is the #2 seed at the D2-6 tournament hosted by Chambers Wheeler Central. The Lady Wolves will open against Stuart with the winner advancing to the sub district championship where they will play the winner of CWC and St. Mary’s.
Mullen is the top seed and will host the D2-10 sub district tournament. Play will open today with Sandhills/Thedford against Hyannis with the winner advancing to play Mullen. The other matchup at the D2-10 sub will feature Arthur County against Paxton.
SEM is the #3 seed in the D2-8 sub district to by played at Bertrand high school. SEM will play Loomis with the winner advancing to play the winner of Bertrand and Brady in the sub district final on Tuesday.
