Girls State Basketball Tournament Begins Today

The 2020 NSAA girls state basketball tournament begins today in Lincoln. The Mullen Lady Broncos are the #3 seed in the D2 tournament and will open with BDS (Bruning Davenport Shickley). The game will be played at Lincoln Southwest High School and is scheduled to tip off at 8:45 tonight. Mullen is 25-1 on the season with their only loss coming to South Loup in the MNAC tournament championship. BDS enters the tournament at 18-5. The winner will advance into the semifinals tomorrow and will play the winner of Humphrey St. Francis / Sterling. D2 top seed Falls City Sacred Heart advanced to the semifinals as they defeated Loomis this morning 53-27. Their opponent will be Wynot who defeated Lawrence-Nelson 48-39.
