Girls District Finals Set for Next Friday

The Broken Bow girls basketball team is the #4 seed in the Class C sub state tournament and will face Adams Central in the C1-4 district final on Friday (2/28) for the right to advance on to the girls state tournament in Lincoln. The game will be played at Kearney Catholic with the tip time scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.

South Loup will be the #9 seed in the Class C2 girls sub state tournament. The Lady Bobcats will face BRLD (Bancroft-Rosalie-Lyons-Decatur) in the C2-8 district final with the winner advancing to the state tournament. The game will be played Friday (2/28) in York with a tip off time of 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on the web at kbbn.com

Anselmo-Merna is the #10 seed in the Class D2. The Lady Coyotes will face Sterling for the D2-7 district title for the right to advance to the state tournament in Lincoln. The game will take place at Grand Island Senior High tipping off at 7 p.m. on Friday (2/28)

Mullen will be the #3 seed in the D2 sub state tournament. The Lady Broncos will match up against Leyton for the D2-3 district title on Friday (2/28) at Ogallala high school.
