Football Friday – Broken Bow Travels to Face Ord on KCNI

The Broken Bow Indians go back on the road tonight as they visit rival Ord.  The Indians will try to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss last week against Gothenburg as they look for their first win of the season.  Bow will be tested tonight as they face an Ord team that is ranked #3 this week in Class C2 by the Omaha World Herald.  The Chants are 3-0 including an impressive win last week at Norfolk Catholic.  Broken Bow was within seconds of claiming their first win of the season last week but saw Gothenburg score the winning touchdown in the final 40 seconds.  First year head coach Carlie Wells told KCNI/KBBN Sports that he has been extremely pleased with the effort of his team this season and has liked the way players have rebounded.

Tonight’s Broken Bow / Ord game will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.  Coverage begins with the Custer Federal State Bank pregame show at 6 pm.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm
